    Original letter and one typed transcript. Written in Philadelphia in response to the disapproval expressed by some society elders over the inclusion of New Church school children in their adult socials. Support was given for the hosting of separate student socials and the initiation of a New Church "Education Class", as well as the expulsion of his student, Fred Burnham. The 50th (fiftieth) anniversary of the Pittsburgh Society and the Berlin school are also mentioned. Individuals mentioned: Mr. Waelchli, Mr. Burnham, Mr. Whitehead, Mr. Nelson, and G.W. Childs.
