Makes plans to drive to Childs's Elwyn home via unfamiliar and newly constructed roads. Mentions the Delaware County Turnpike and a new State road. Asks if Childs have seen Ottley's & Potts' letters on the Tafel Pamphlet. Notes when Pendleton [Pitcairn? see Benade's letter of Aug 23rd] & Schreck are to arrive abroad. Discusses the "Tafel Document" and his unwillingness to publish it until he seen the report by the Council of Ministers. Mentions attacks on the Academy in New Church publications.
