Original letter. Written in Pittsburgh. Discusses the selection of one individual to manage the "documents" (Swedenborg's Theological Writings). Expresses dissatisfaction with the English Church's contribution to the M.S.S. project. Mentions Chandler's S. S. (Sunday School) work, and how the Interlinear would serve any New Churchman in "getting nearer to the true sense of the Word". Criticizes the perceived partisanship of Chandler's magazine editor and other magazine authors. Disagrees with the idea that the New Church can be diffused through the Old Church. Glad Chandler's family is all well now. People, places, and publications mentioned: Mr. Ross; the Documents, Mr. Iungerich; Mr. Glenn; E. B. Warren of Walnut Street near 20th, Philadelphia; Warren's brother; Jno (?) Pitcairn; Cooper Union; the Interlinear Translation of the Word; England; Editor of "your" Mag.; article from "the Troy Whig;" T. P. (Parsons?) ; A. S. (Abiel Silver?); the Old Church & New Church; the Spiritual World; Maudsley.
