    Original letter. Written in Pittsburgh. Mentions Chandler's torments by "hay-cold spirits" (hayfever), and his own little health-troubles. Announces the completion of the Pittsburgh church building and the anticipation of a church organ around Christmas. Criticizes the uncharitable attitudes and actions of the builders. Comments on written criticism included in Chandler's magazine which he calls "Barrett's perversions". Relays continued money settlement issues with regard to the M.S.S. and Bible.
