One typed transcript. Written in Philadelphia. A continuation of the previous, and more official, letter. Acknowledges Mr. Bostock's request for advice regarding Council appointments. Recounts the most recent Academy controversy: complaints made by parents regarding corporal punishment used in the school, dissention among the Councillors, the principle of unanimity, and a budding antagonism between the Headmaster and Councillor Tafel. Individuals mentioned: Mr. Pendleton, Mr. Childs, Mr. Tafel, Dr. R.L.T. (Tafel?), Mr. Searle, Walter (?), W.C.C. (?), and Mrs. Bostock.
